UK Client Services Associate – CLO/ABL Modeler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Model CLO and ABL transactions within Vantage, Valitana’s OMS & PMS, ensuring precise representation of deal structures, waterfalls, and tranches.

• Conduct indenture analysis to convert deal documentation into platform configurations and compliance frameworks.

• Configure and uphold compliance testing for managed deals and Separately Managed Accounts (SMAs).

• Act as a trusted advisor to institutional clients — including CLO managers, CLO investors, hedge funds, and asset managers — by providing exceptional support and promptly addressing complex requests.

• Develop custom metrics, workflows, and Excel models tailored to the unique needs of clients, utilizing the Valitana plugin for data integration and calculations.

• Support clients with onboarding, data uploads, and ongoing platform usage to enhance adoption and value realization.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for junior team members and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing on CLO structures and modeling best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–7+ years of professional experience in structured finance, CLO modeling, fixed income, or financial operations.

• Proven ability to read and interpret indentures, translating deal terms into modeling and compliance logic.

• Strong understanding of CLO mechanics — waterfalls, OC/IC tests, concentration limitations, and reinvestment criteria.

• Familiarity with ABL structures.

• Previous client-facing experience in consulting, client services, or relationship management roles.

• Proficient in Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex structured finance concepts to clients.

• Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution; degrees in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field are preferred.

• Management or mentorship experience is highly regarded.

• Preference for AI literacy — comfort with using AI tools to enhance research, analysis, or client deliverables.
