UI/UX Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product UI/UX for client mobile and web applications from discovery through to handoff across various engagements as necessary.

• Conduct client-facing design reviews, workshops, and asynchronous critiques during US business hours.

• Transform briefs into user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens, and interactive prototypes.

• Develop and sustain design systems and component libraries.

• Collaborate with PMs and engineers on scope, edge cases, empty states, loading, errors, accessibility, and platform conventions.

• Create build-ready Figma files featuring named layers, variants, auto-layout, redlines or tokens, and export-ready assets.

• Leverage AI design and research tools to expedite exploration and copy, carefully reviewing outputs prior to client or sprint delivery.

• Proactively identify design risks early when briefs, timelines, product requests, or technical limitations conflict.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience designing production mobile and/or web products that have been launched.

• A portfolio demonstrating full case studies that include problems, constraints, design decisions, and the final results.

• Experience in client-facing design reviews and discussions with founders or product owners.

• Agency or consultancy background is preferred.

• Proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, auto-layout, variables or tokens, prototyping, shared libraries, and maintaining a clean file structure.

• Systems thinking and experience in designing reusable patterns, states, and edge cases.

• Familiarity with mobile and web platforms across iOS, Android, and responsive web.

• Experience with AI design and research tools such as Figma AI, Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, or similar.

• Proficient in English at a C1 level or above.

• Availability for overlap during US hours, roughly until 5 PM EST.

• Ability to provide honest estimates, highlight blockers early, and fulfill commitments.
