UI/UX Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement human-centered design principles in software development.

• Create concepts and prototypes for stakeholders.

• Quickly iterate on designs within a lean, agile framework.

• Clearly communicate design decisions and navigate feedback with diplomacy.

• Conduct user research and analyze data to guide design choices.

• Maintain brand and product consistency by utilizing design systems.

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Engage in requirement analysis sessions to comprehend business and user needs.

• Offer technical insights and suggestions during the requirements gathering process.

• Take part in Agile practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.

• Work alongside Agile teams to deliver software solutions punctually and within project scope.

• Adapt to evolving priorities and requirements.

• Conduct testing and debugging to ensure application reliability, security, and performance.

• Write unit and integration tests to validate feature functionality.

• Identify and rectify software defects, code smells, and performance issues.

• Stay current with technologies and trends, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Suggest innovative solutions to enhance performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

• Optimize and refactor existing codebases.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and promote an inclusive work environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in UI, UX, or product design.

• Experience in developing user interfaces without relying on frameworks.

• Proven track record in delivering designs that are ready for development.

• A compelling portfolio demonstrating past work in UX and UI design.

• Proficient in Figma at a working professional level.

• A trained eye for typography, color theory, and spacing principles.

• Practical understanding of interaction design.

• Secondary proficiency in Adobe, Affinity, Linearity, or similar tools.

• Ability to contribute to design systems.
