This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create user experiences for Hermes Agent and Nous Portal across desktop, web, mobile, and terminal interfaces.

• Develop interaction patterns for AI agents, encompassing multi-step workflows, tool utilization, long-running tasks, and human-in-the-loop experiences.

• Participate in the complete product design cycle, from user flows and information architecture to high-fidelity visual design and detailed interactions.

• Work alongside Product and Engineering teams to design, prototype, and deliver polished, high-performance user experiences.

• Build reusable design systems, components, and interaction patterns that span various products.

• Prototype ideas using contemporary design tools, lightweight coding, or interactive prototypes as necessary.

• Support brand representation and artistic direction across product, marketing, documentation, and community experiences.

• Conduct user research and integrate both qualitative and quantitative feedback to enhance product offerings.

• Aid in establishing design principles and best practices for AI-native user experiences throughout the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design.

• A portfolio showcasing shipped consumer, enterprise, or developer products.

• Proficient in interaction design, visual design, typography, layout, and motion graphics.

• Capability to design experiences for intricate workflows and ambiguous problem domains.

• Skilled in using modern design tools like Figma and interactive prototyping platforms.

• Experience in collaborating with engineers to implement designs in production.

• Strong product intuition and the ability to translate user needs into effective design solutions.

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional product development.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with shifting product requirements.

• Nice-to-have: experience in designing AI products, LLM applications, AI agents, or developer tools.

• Nice-to-have: familiarity with terminal, CLI, desktop, browser extension, and multi-platform application design.

• Nice-to-have: experience in prototyping with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or similar technologies.

• Nice-to-have: background in design systems, branding, visual identity, or creative direction.

• Nice-to-have: familiarity with open-source software communities and developer-centric products.

• Nice-to-have: a passion for exploring new interaction paradigms for advanced AI systems.
