This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Act as a representative for BeneLynk’s internal and external customers in making product design choices.
• Collaborate with Operations, development, sales, and other stakeholders to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Contribute to the formulation of product strategy alongside senior management, the Product Owner, and the Veteran Choose team.
• Build and sustain working relationships with department heads to understand their operational needs.
• Question management assumptions, pose challenging inquiries, and implement initiatives that foster rapid innovation.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of intuitive design principles and relevant industries to pinpoint product opportunities.
• Simplify complex program rules regarding eligibility, service authorizations, budgets, timesheets, payroll, and compliance into straightforward, error-resistant workflows.
• Create user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes utilizing standard and AI-assisted design tools.
• Organize design-alignment workshops and structured reviews with product, engineering, compliance, and operations stakeholders.
• Convert approved designs into specifications ready for developers, including interaction notes and edge-case documentation.
• Design and uphold a consistent design system and component library across various user roles and platform modules.
• Plan and execute user research, including interviews, contextual inquiries, and usability testing.
• Compile research findings into personas, journey maps, and problem statements.
• Adhere to WCAG 2.1 AA or higher accessibility standards in design.
• Conduct usability testing and make iterations based on feedback, support themes, complaints, and product analytics.
• Document design choices and justifications for audit readiness and compliance traceability.
• Remain engaged with engineering during the implementation phase to address fidelity gaps.
• Enhance efficiency within existing product development processes and facilitate the introduction of new products to market.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree.
• 2 - 5+ years of experience in healthcare.
• Over 5 years in UI/UX Product Design.
• Familiarity with Agile business/software development lifecycle processes and methodologies.
• Proficiency in current tools such as AI, Claude, and Figma for swift wireframe and prototype development.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with end-user workflows.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
• Sound judgment and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, developers, fellow designers, and end users.
• Preferred knowledge of value-based care providers and associated entities.
• Capability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
• Must be able to lift items weighing up to 15 pounds.
• A stable internet connection is required.
