This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Convert Figma designs into responsive, semantic HTML and CSS that align with brand guidelines and existing site patterns.
• Collaborate closely with designers on layout, spacing, typography, responsive behavior, and edge cases throughout the implementation process.
• Work with the marketing team on content structure, messaging alignment, and page updates that support campaigns and communications.
• Develop interactive UI components including tab panels, selectable cards, typeahead search, accordions, and multi-step content flows.
• Create accessible interfaces utilizing ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen-reader-friendly markup.
• Customize and extend Bootstrap (or similar frameworks) using design tokens, CSS variables, and component-level styles.
• Integrate front-end experiences with CMS platforms (e.g., Umbraco, Jahia) and deliver production-ready fragments and assets.
• Leverage Angular and/or React as appropriate to enhance CMS integrations, create reusable components, and improve platform functionality.
• Connect UI to APIs using lightweight JavaScript, including data fetching, managing loading and error states, and proxying third-party services when necessary.
• Make use of existing site styles and components wherever feasible to ensure visual consistency across properties.
• Collaborate with engineers on local development setup, deployment, and performance-focused front-end delivery.
• Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned.
• Safeguard, secure, and properly manage all confidential company data; prevent unauthorized access, improper transmission, or unapproved disclosure that could be detrimental to the company or its clients.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in building production web UIs.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript, with the ability to create content-rich pages without depending on heavy SPA frameworks for every experience.
• Experience with Angular for creating CMS integrations, reusable components, and platform enhancements.
• Demonstrated experience implementing designs from Figma (or similar), with a focus on layout, typography, and responsive breakpoints.
• Strong understanding of accessibility principles: WCAG-compliant markup, focus management, and ARIA patterns for tabs and similar controls.
• Proficient in CSS architecture: including custom properties, BEM-style naming, media queries, and framework overrides.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap or similar CSS frameworks.
• Excellent attention to detail, particularly in visual fidelity, hover/focus states, and content edge cases.
• Ability to work in regulated or content-heavy domains (government, finance, healthcare, benefits, payroll, fintech) where clarity and trust are paramount.
• Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working closely with designers, marketing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
