UI Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Examine and internalize Movement's Brand Guidelines along with the approved prototype to serve as the foundation for all visual design initiatives.

• Create and enhance the visual direction for Movement's new website.

• Generate several UI design concepts for the review and approval of stakeholders.

• Construct a scalable design system in Figma, encompassing typography, color schemes, spacing, grid layouts, buttons, forms, navigation, cards, modals, and other reusable elements.

• Implement the approved visual system across around 15 responsive website templates for desktop, tablet, and mobile formats.

• Develop supporting design assets, including icons, illustrative treatments, and imagery specifications as required.

• Engage in design reviews, present concepts, and iterate based on feedback from stakeholders.

• Prepare well-organized, developer-ready Figma files and continuously deliver approved components to the development team throughout the project.

• Collaborate with essential stakeholders during the project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in UI or digital product design.

• A robust portfolio showcasing responsive website design and visual systems.

• Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, and design systems.

• Proven experience in designing scalable component libraries for responsive websites.

• Strong grasp of typography, layout, spacing, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

• Experience in collaborating with developers and preparing design files that are ready for production.

• Capability to operate within a defined brand while enhancing the overall digital experience.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to confidently present design concepts and integrate stakeholder feedback.
