Turnover & Completion Manager

📋 Description

• Ensure that all completion activities are carried out in accordance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards.

• Foster a robust safety culture throughout the execution of projects, resolution of punch-list items, and handover processes.

• Establish and oversee the Completion Management System (PIMS), including databases and reporting mechanisms, while training project personnel and contractors on system usage.

• Develop and sustain the strategy, plans, milestones, and procedures for project completion and closeout.

• Structure the CMS by delineating systems, subsystems, mechanical completion packages, and commissioning packages to meet handover requirements in line with project and contractual obligations.

• Collaborate with project management, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to synchronize completion goals.

• Create clear definitions for roles, responsibilities, and workflows associated with completion and handover tasks.

• Ensure all deliverables conform to required quality standards, specifications, and contractual obligations prior to handover.

• Track progress against project completion milestones, punch-list closure objectives, and handover timelines.

• Provide frequent updates through completion dashboards, status reports, and management briefings to both internal and external stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, information systems, or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in completion management for major projects, ideally within the Oil & Gas or Energy/Renewables sectors.

• Strong understanding of project lifecycle processes, documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple priorities and resolve issues swiftly under tight deadlines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.

• Familiarity with Completion Management Systems such as PIMS or equivalent tools (e.g., Hexagon Smart Completions, Co-Console, ProCoSys, Aconex, ICAPS, WinPCS).
