Turkish – English OPI/VRI Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Respond to calls professionally, adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be ready to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with the specialized vocabulary relevant to the interpreter's field, particularly in healthcare and medical sectors.

• Accurately and completely convey all messages without adding, omitting, or substituting any information.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the interpreting process.

• Enable effective communication between Limited English Proficient individuals and clients by providing precise and comprehensive interpretations of messages.

• Implement standards of practice consistently.

• Participate in internal professional training sessions.

• Show enthusiasm for obtaining new professional certifications.

• Maintain communication and reporting with your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code standards for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Turkish".

• Strong understanding of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is an advantage.

• Possession of international certifications in the healthcare field is a plus (PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• High school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and an appreciation for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention abilities.
