This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engineers will collaborate closely with the Port Engineer and Vessel Captain, embodying our three fundamental values of Innovation, Integrity, and Efficiency while upholding the Curtin Standard on board.

• This role is a full-time engagement.

• Workdays and hours are dependent on specific projects and will necessitate considerable time and travel away from home.

• The position often demands extended hours, weekend shifts, and offshore travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• TWIC Card.

• MMC – OS/Wiper.

• CG Med Cert.

• Passport.

• MMC QMED/Oiler (Preferred).

• Able Seaman Endorsement (Preferred).

• STCW Basic Training (Preferred).

• Experience as an assistant or sole Engineer on tugs.

• Fundamental knowledge and troubleshooting skills in electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

• Familiarity with tow winch operations.

• Capability to clean and maintain an engine room to the Curtin Standard.
