Trust & Safety Specialist, French

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire in-depth knowledge about online risk and abuse, particularly in relation to interactions on social and dating platforms.

• Assess and evaluate user reports by applying internal guidelines in an objective and consistent manner.

• Carry out risk evaluations concerning severity, urgency, and potential impact, while escalating high-risk cases as needed.

• Monitor livestreams in real-time and react to violations of Community Guidelines.

• Recognize operational, product, and policy deficiencies and suggest enhancements for user safety.

• Document and report technical issues encountered during moderation or investigations.

• Enhance processes, best practices, and documentation.

• Analyze and provide insights on emerging trends within the specific market.

• Compile regular reports on key insights, risks, and platform trends.

• Collaborate on cross-functional safety initiatives by providing relevant insights and regional context.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Trust & Safety, online moderation, risk assessment, or a similar field.

• Proficiency in French at C1/C2 level.

• Minimum B2 proficiency in English.

• Strong grasp of German culture, youth trends, and online behavioral norms.

• Good understanding of social media platforms, user dynamics, and digital communities.

• Familiarity with dating and social discovery apps along with typical risk scenarios.

• Exceptional analytical skills.

• Ability to apply guidelines objectively and consistently under pressure.

• Swift and confident decision-making in time-sensitive situations.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing rules, products, and risk environments.

• Strong communication skills.

• Neutral evaluation of complex or sensitive situations.

• High social intelligence and cultural awareness.

• Experience in Customer Support is a plus.

• Background in real-time decision-making environments is also a plus.

• Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
