Trust and Safety Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Identify and eliminate users who breach Zeel’s Terms of Service.

• Document and address escalated issues from customers, patients, and providers.

• Operate in a queue-based setting to swiftly and accurately respond to high-volume Trust & Safety communications.

• Uphold credentialing standards and conduct assessments of provider quality.

• Evaluate Office Credentialing Applications.

• Keep track of news headlines regarding risk and public health-related regulations at both state and federal levels.

• Adapt Trust & Safety protocols and policies as necessary.

• Collaborate with the Data, Technology, and Product teams to enhance Trust & Safety software and integrations.

• Oversee property and injury claims management.

• Handle Discrepancy claims processing.

• Manage Medical Records and subpoena requests as required.

• Develop response templates for frequently asked questions.

• Support special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or an equivalent four-year degree.

• Minimum of two years of experience in Trust & Safety, law enforcement, legal, claims, or related fields.

• Strong research capabilities and analytical skills.

• Experience in a dynamic, high-volume work environment.

• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the handling of PII and PHI.

• Exceptional judgment, integrity, empathy, and the ability to maintain high standards under pressure.

• Excellent documentation skills and strong attention to detail.

• Self-motivated, responsive, and highly collaborative.

• Availability to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as required.

• Preferred Qualifications: Background in law enforcement, risk management, or insurance-related sectors.

• Experience in written communications through email, phone, and text in a compliance-oriented environment without reliance on AI for proper grammar and tone.
