This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, execute, coordinate, and/or monitor activities at Steam Power sites.
• Conduct on-site installation of systems and equipment, along with ongoing preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations post-installation.
• Address requests for emergency repairs and services for malfunctioning equipment.
• Offer technical guidance and support to customer representatives concerning installation, operation, calibration, repair, and maintenance at customer locations.
• Perform administrative tasks including writing technical reports, ordering materials, obtaining quotations, preparing job status reports, customer reports, and completing timesheets and expense sheets thoroughly and punctually.
• Approve all implemented changes.
• Possess the knowledge to troubleshoot and conduct routine maintenance checks for a diverse range of equipment models.
• Create precise and timely technical reports for customer documentation and as a reference for future outages.
• Ensure all necessary parts are shipped to the site for the job.
• Execute aftermarket upgrades that must be carried out at the site level.
• Supervise critical tasks when performed by third-party contractors.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or a related discipline from an accredited institution, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; or a High School Diploma/GED with over 4 years of experience in a Field Services or power generation equipment maintenance role.
• Ability to obtain and maintain unescorted security clearance for nuclear facilities throughout North America.
• Experience working at customer sites.
• Strong understanding of Steam Turbine Operations and Controlling Parameters OR Steam Boiler Operational Principles.
• Proficient technical skills in reading and interpreting electrical/mechanical flow and instrument diagrams, as well as dial and laser alignment and thermal growth equipment.
