Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

• Provide tutoring in various Math subjects ranging from 6th grade to college level.

• Assist students across the United States through flexible, remote sessions.

• Engage with a wider array of students by being proficient in a broad spectrum of math topics and familiar with the U.S. curriculum.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience is necessary.

• At least 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience in the U.S. is essential.

• Must have taught or tutored within the last 2 years.

• A minimum of 1 year of online tutoring experience is required.

• Strong comprehension of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards is needed.

• Capability to tutor across various Math subjects from 6th grade to college level.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.

• Tutors who are available during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) can connect with more students.

• A fast and reliable internet connection is essential.

• A computer or laptop equipped with a microphone and camera is required; a stylus pen is highly recommended for clear annotations.

• A quiet and professional environment is necessary for tutoring sessions.
