This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver clinical and professional expertise for educational programs.
• Contribute to the strategic development of educational initiatives.
• Identify and assess new training needs and gaps with sales and marketing leaders, as well as Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) among physicians and allied health professionals.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals (HCPs), Professional Education program managers, and sales and marketing leaders to align on initiatives that are created, implemented, and evaluated for HCP engagement and effectiveness.
• Identify subject matter experts, including physicians and allied professionals, for speaking engagements and peer-to-peer training.
• Manage relationships with KOLs for professional education engagements.
• Oversee the faculty database and facilitate the speaker's bureau.
• Build relationships with clinicians across various levels, including Fellows, Electrophysiologists, Cardiologists, Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and Hospital Administration.
• Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, such as Marketing, Sales, and allied professionals, to gather feedback and insights during analysis.
• Establish and nurture strong cross-functional relationships with the US commercial organization at both Area and Regional leadership levels.
• Support the Professional Education Manager and team during programs as required, with comprehensive knowledge of all Professional Education programs and faculty.
• Ensure a positive experience for customers, trainees, and trainers at programs while maintaining message consistency, and develop expertise in the designated therapy.
• Comprehend and articulate all Office of Ethics and Compliance policies and procedures, and report or enforce policies as needed to sustain full compliance within the division.
• Partner with the Fellows program for smooth transitions.
• Identify standardized approaches to evaluate the impact of educational programs and implement continuous improvements.
• Foster a culture of best practices, technologies, and tools within the industry and apply them as appropriate.
• Adhere to global regulatory relations and requirements, company policies, operational procedures, and assigned tasks.
• Stay updated on developments in the field, particularly regarding product/therapy knowledge, market trends, and industry advancements.
• Maintain awareness of budgetary spending to achieve departmental goals.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, preferably in Medical Technology or Molecular Biology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in CRM or MedTech.
• At least 3 years of experience working with KOL physicians.
• Ability to effectively communicate with external customers, Field Support, R&D, Quality, and Regulatory personnel to achieve desired outcomes.
• CRM Clinical Field Experience.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of CRM device therapy and Abbott’s CRM product portfolio.
• Passion for educating others, with a proven ability to simplify and convey complex topics effectively.
• Experience in engaging with customers (payers, hospitals, and physicians), patients, and professional and medical organizations.
• Insight into key KOLs within the cardiovascular sector.
• Functional understanding of Field and Marketing functions.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success in working across field organizations to implement sophisticated messaging and programs.
• Experience in identifying and driving operational changes and excellence.
• Ability to navigate a highly matrixed organization and diverse geographical business environments.
• Capability to work both as part of a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of effective collaboration.
• Proficient computer and software skills for developing presentation and training materials.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to resolve issues and meet project deadlines.
