This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Adapts and modifies the K12 curriculum in accordance with state content standards to cater to the specific needs of each student.
• Works together with general education teachers to achieve the objectives of targeted students through individualized and small group sessions.
• Informs parents about various instructional strategies.
• Guarantees the application of the RTI instructional framework to enhance student achievement.
• Manages data collection and monitors progress at all tiers.
• Offers continuous training and support to school and district staff concerning RTI and the execution of RTI and data collection procedures.
• Collaborates with the special education team to assist in determining eligibility for special education services.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time for in-person professional development, student assessments, and other school-related needs.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Current state teaching license.
• Capability to pass the necessary background check.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow teachers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with the designated age group.
• Background in supporting both adults and children in utilizing technology.
• Experience in teaching in both online (virtual) and traditional (brick-and-mortar) settings.
