This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more locations.
β’ Professionally and efficiently handle incoming patient calls
β’ Address patient inquiries and deliver exceptional customer service
β’ Engage with patients and their families in English, Spanish, and Portuguese
β’ Redirect patient inquiries to the relevant clinical team as needed
β’ Arrange, change, and confirm patient appointments
β’ Oversee provider calendars to enhance scheduling efficiency
β’ Make outbound calls for appointment reminders and patient follow-ups
β’ Ensure patient information is precise and up-to-date in the practice management system
β’ Keep accurate patient records within the EMR
β’ Assist with patient registration and updates to demographic information
β’ Facilitate communication among providers, patients, and internal staff
β’ Contribute to the seamless day-to-day administrative functions of the practice
β’ Provide a friendly, compassionate, and professional experience in every patient interaction
β’ Manage sensitive patient information with care and confidentiality
β’ Recognize opportunities to enhance patient communication and operational efficiency
β’ Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure superior continuity of care
β’ Proficient in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, both written and spoken
β’ Prior experience in a U.S. healthcare or medical practice setting
β’ Strong telephone communication abilities and customer service skills
β’ Excellent organizational capabilities with a keen eye for detail
β’ Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
β’ Comfortable working independently while adhering to established processes
β’ Professional, compassionate, and patient-centered approach
β’ Experience with eClinicalWorks (preferred)
β’ Background as a Patient Coordinator, Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, or Front Desk Coordinator (preferred)
β’ Familiarity with RingCentral or other VoIP phone systems (preferred)
β’ Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality (preferred)
β’ Experience in pediatric or family medicine practices (preferred)
β’ Availability for full-time, 40-hour work weeks during U.S. Eastern Standard Time hours
β’ 100% REMOTE
