Triage Registered Nurse, RN – Weekends

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Answer incoming calls from patients and initiate outgoing calls to them.

• Conduct clinical assessments following established protocols and triage patients by phone or via the patient portal.

• Address patient inquiries received through the patient portal.

• Generate orders and direct them to the relevant parties.

• Offer administrative assistance for FMLA, ADA, and LTD/STD needs of both patients and providers.

• Aid in the training and onboarding of team members, including participation in learner and trainer shadowing shifts.

• Uphold best practices to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care.

• Communicate with healthcare providers through authorized channels as necessary.

• Execute additional responsibilities essential to support the company's values and mission.

• Maintain regular and dependable attendance during scheduled hours.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse with unencumbered e-NCL licensure.

• RN licensure in California and Minnesota is mandatory.

• Demonstrated current clinical proficiency is required.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities are necessary.

• Capability to operate within approved procedures and clinical guidelines.

• Experience with Electronic Medical Records, including EPIC, Cerner, or Greenway.

• Proficiency in using Windows-based software, including Adobe, MS Word, MS Excel, fax, and other tools.

• At least 5 years of experience in various direct patient care environments, including Emergency Department, Labor and Delivery, or Critical Care.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Adult Nursing is required.

• Oncology experience is highly preferred.

• Experience in Women's Health or Labor and Delivery is preferred.

• Ability to work remotely from home in a private HIPAA-compliant environment.

• Capability to accommodate company equipment necessary for the role.

• Must have broadband internet access with a minimum download speed of 24 Mbps and upload speed of 4 Mbps.

• Ability to hear within the normal range and use a headset/earpiece.

• Good visual acuity to read computer screens, scripts, and forms.

• Successful completion of a background check, drug screening, and identity verification is required prior to employment.
