Triage Nurse

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.

📋 Description

• Oversee incoming clinical concerns from both staff and patients through phone communication; prioritize and escalate emergencies as needed.

• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals, social workers, and APPs to effectively tackle urgent issues.

• Facilitate care coordination with other healthcare providers to promote comprehensive health management for patients.

• Create and present training sessions on fundamental medical topics tailored for peer mental health workers and social workers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid RN license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state, with a commitment to obtain licensure in non-compact states.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting.

• Background in working with populations facing challenges such as serious mental illnesses, behavioral health issues, and/or substance use disorders.

• Experience in care management and coordination.
