This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Enter AP invoices daily into the accounting system, ensuring accurate allocation of GL accounts, cost centres, VAT codes, and project codes.
• Proactively address invoice discrepancies by liaising with relevant stakeholders and escalating issues as necessary.
• Oversee the AP group mailbox to guarantee prompt processing of invoices and prevent payment delays.
• Conduct vendor reconciliations and investigate/resolve any statement variances.
• Address vendor inquiries with accuracy and professionalism, fostering positive relationships.
• Assist with AP audit requests by ensuring that documentation and processes adhere to audit standards.
• Generate AP reports and KPIs as needed, delivering valuable operational insights.
• Record daily bank statements and manage cash allocations across multiple entities, including multi-currency transactions.
• Handle manual payments on a bi-weekly basis and manage urgent payment requests in accordance with controls and compliance requirements.
• Carry out bank account reconciliations to ensure records are accurate and complete.
• Aid in the reconciliation of factoring agreements and invoice financing arrangements, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations.
• Assist with treasury audit requests and uphold strong documentation and control practices.
• Prepare treasury reports as needed to facilitate decision-making and enhance visibility of cash and banking activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in treasury, accounts payable, or broader finance operations/financial management.
• Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (excellent Excel skills are essential).
• Strong analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Familiarity with international banking practices and regulations.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; confident in interactions with vendors and internal teams.
• Capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient keyboard and computer literacy.
• High level of proficiency in the English language.
