Traveling Retail Construction Superintendent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction projects, ensuring that execution, safety, and quality standards are upheld throughout each phase.

• Manage daily job site operations from mobilization to project completion.

• Analyze project manuals, drawings, and specifications to facilitate execution.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, manage schedules, and handle site logistics to meet project deadlines.

• Identify potential risks, modify plans, and implement solutions to ensure continued progress.

• Ensure all work is in line with design intent while adapting to on-site conditions.

• Lead Requests for Information (RFIs), inspections, and permitting processes through to project closeout.

• Maintain precise daily reports, including updates on progress and photographs.

• Supervise final project completion and facilitate client handoff.

• Direct field staff and subcontractors to ensure high levels of productivity and accountability.

• Keep project schedules on track and proactively manage any delays.

• Enforce safety protocols and lead weekly toolbox discussions.

• Conduct inspections to ensure quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role within the construction industry.

• At least 5 years of experience in a relevant trade or field environment.

• Strong knowledge of commercial or retail construction processes.

• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and project specifications.

• Familiarity with project management software (Procore, PlanGrid, Autodesk Build preferred).

• Willingness to travel frequently and work nights and weekends as necessary.

• Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, background screening, and drug test.
