Traveling HVAC Installation Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Install and replace parts of commercial cooling systems on cell tower cooling units.

• Accurately complete daily reports in a timely manner.

• Travel to remote job sites as required.

• Execute upgrades on equipment during off-peak seasons.

• Conduct essential performance evaluations.

• Inspect and diagnose equipment and alarm issues.

• Be available for on-call work and travel as necessary, particularly during the busy summer months.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC maintenance; commercial experience is preferred.

• 1 year of construction experience may be accepted in place of HVAC experience.

• Experience with wall-mounted MarvAir, Bard, and MarvAir DAC/WAC direct air-cooling units is highly desirable.

• Fundamental understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electrical components, including refrigeration systems.

• Ability to adhere to FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA standards.

• Candidates must reside in the Fort Wayne or Indianapolis, Indiana area.

• Willingness and capability to travel 80–90% for up to three weeks at a time.

• Proficiency in operating a phone, computer, and/or tablet.

• Strong verbal and email communication skills.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

• Capability to visually and audibly inspect and troubleshoot equipment and alarms.

• Must be on call and able to travel when necessary.

• May be required to pass a DOT physical.
