This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Install, maintain, and service poles, solar panels, batteries, and camera systems at various customer locations.
• Set up poles of different lengths according to specifications, including digging post holes, mounting solar panels, and positioning external batteries; install and align LPR cameras equipped with PTZ technology.
• Carry out both installation and maintenance tasks with an approximate 50/50 split between the two.
• Operate on public and private roadways, often using equipment that is 10–12 feet above ground.
• Utilize ladders and bucket trucks to safely work at heights of up to 30 feet.
• Employ both power and hand tools; conduct minor repairs on underground irrigation systems or private wiring.
• Drive company vehicles and tow small trailers; provide support for DFR (Drone as First Responder) units and mobile security trailers.
• Meet with customers to conduct site surveys and discuss various installation options.
• Interpret traffic control plans and permit drawings to determine compliant installation locations.
• Monitor inventory, receive shipments, and submit photos and updates regarding installations via the Flock Field mobile app.
• Execute all tasks in a safe, professional, and compliant manner.
• Adjust to dynamic scheduling, often with 2–3 days’ notice.
• Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, and working outdoors.
• Previous experience in construction, electrical work, low-voltage wiring, or similar hands-on roles is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with using tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently across diverse job types and environments.
• Proficient in driving vans and trucks and towing small trailers (Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license).
• Basic computer and mobile app skills; eager to learn new technologies.
