Travel Troubleshooting Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical problems on Wind Turbines.

• Calibrate and modify turbine components to improve efficiency.

• Perform maintenance on equipment, addressing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues across various Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) such as: G114-2.5, G114-2.625, G126-2.5, G126-2.625, G132-3.3, G132-3.465, SG145-4.5, SG145-5.0.

• Troubleshoot issues related to wind turbine generators or their control systems.

• Adhere to specific verbal and written instructions for the assembly, repair, and maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and related equipment.

• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation and records for both the company and clients.

• Operate a motor vehicle safely and in compliance with the PEARCE Renewables Employee handbook and insurance guidelines.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment, and the work area, including sweeping, mopping, and addressing oil, grease, and solvent spills.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of twelve (12) months of experience in Wind Troubleshooting is required.

• Completion of SBTT - Siemens Basic Technician Training (Green Profile).

• Certified in Siemens-Gamesa Renewable Energy Basic Technician Training – Family 3.

• Completed training in C&T Gamesa Geared (including C&T DAC Converter).

• Certifications in Tower Rescue/ Tractel and SRK 11 are preferred.

• Service reports, work order documentation, and records must be written clearly, legibly, and accurately.

• Capability to interpret schematics is essential.
