Travel Ticketing / Reservation Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Support customers in fulfilling their booking requirements

• Offer a variety of planning and booking services

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide travel recommendations

• Reserve accommodations and tickets

⛳️ Requirements

• Knowledge of tourism, including hotels and flights

• Proficiency in GDS is essential - Amadeus preferred and basic Sabre (with a minimum of 2 years of experience)

• Capable of creating bookings, ticketing, reissuing, and updating Q

• Competency in MS Excel and Word

• Ability to multitask while engaging with various channels: email, Slack, Monday, and hospitality systems

• Monitor systems for any irregular ticket booking activities

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively within a team

• Flexibility to work varying shifts

• Serve as a resource/support for agents regarding ticketing and fares inquiries, including branch offices as necessary

• Conduct quality control on all international tickets issued overnight to ensure correct commissions and lowest fares.
