Travel Supply Analyst Intern – 8-month

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Assisting Account Managers and the Supply Team as necessary to manage accounts

• Utilizing Looker, our preferred BI tool, to pinpoint opportunities for business growth and to secure better pricing for our customers

• Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify potential improvements both operationally and technically

• Compiling summaries for Account Managers based on insights derived from your research

• Regular tasks include preparing bi-weekly error reports and competitiveness data for team meetings, monthly updates on technical tiers, and documentation creation

• Developing and maintaining documentation for routine tasks, analyses, and procedures

• Engaging in ad hoc projects as they occur, which can be undertaken independently or in collaboration with teammates

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency with data - while you don't need to be a data expert, you should be comfortable performing basic spreadsheet analysis (such as VLookup, HLookup, Pivot Tables, Index/Match). Familiarity with a BI tool is advantageous.

• Flexibility - your responsibilities may involve attending supplier meetings one day and focusing on enhancing internal processes the next. The capability to thrive in uncertain situations is essential.

• Self-motivated - interns are vital to our team. A strong work ethic and a proactive attitude are crucial in this remote working environment.

• Summarization abilities - Distilling relevant insights from data and distinguishing the essential information from the extraneous is a fundamental aspect of this position.
