Senior Audit Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance on audit and compliance projects that support DoD financial systems, including JTMS and associated ERP or logistics platforms.

• Develop and uphold audit work standards that align with GAGAS and federal audit regulations.

• Assist in achieving Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) objectives along with DoD auditability aims.

• Oversee internal controls testing, documentation, remediation tracking, and risk assessments.

• Manage SOC-1 Type I and Type II audit support activities within service organization contexts.

• Coordinate walkthroughs, control testing, and inquiries from auditors.

• Assess the design and operational effectiveness of controls.

• Ensure that remediation plans are executed and documented correctly.

• Identify recurring themes in audits and systemic control challenges.

• Suggest improvements to financial system controls, reporting procedures, and governance frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Current Secret Clearance.

• Over 8 years of experience in supporting DoD or federal financial audit projects.

• Proven expertise in: - DoD financial management environments - Internal Controls - SOC-1 audit standards - GAGAS principles - Federal financial compliance frameworks.
