This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Accountable for overseeing and managing all transactions and activities related to the travel rule by utilizing third-party solutions and in-house developed systems.
• Ensure that all transactions necessitating sender or receiver details for travel rule compliance meet the requirements set forth by relevant jurisdictional regulations.
• Prevent transactions from being processed that would breach travel rule requirements until all necessary information is collected to validate the sender or receiver details.
• Facilitate the execution of periodic reviews of accounts/customers to identify potentially suspicious activities and document the investigative steps taken.
• Manage the identification and escalation of any issues that may affect the quality of travel rule compliance.
• Ensure that appropriate actions are taken by other TM/TS team members regarding accounts involved in suspicious blockchain activities.
• Assist the Team Lead for Alerts, Reporting, and Travel Rule in ensuring that teams accurately and timely prepare required SARS or other necessary reports.
• Develop, regularly update, and maintain the accuracy of all tracking logs for metrics reporting.
• Foster and nurture a team-oriented and collaborative atmosphere to enhance analytical and reporting processes.
• Coordinate or lead additional activities as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree with strong academic achievements.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, particularly as it relates to this position.
• Understanding of travel rule requirements in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union, and Bermuda.
• Familiarity with travel rule solutions and networks, including Notabene, Trust, Sum&Sub, etc.
• Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
• Hardworking and motivated individual.
• Strong time management skills with the capability to complete tasks under tight deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills essential for effective collaboration with colleagues across various regions and business units.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficient in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite applications.
• Experience in cryptocurrency is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, with skills in pivot tables and Vlookups preferred.
