
Travel Property Adjuster – Field Estimating

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver outstanding service to policyholders.
• Travel to clients' residences for on-site property evaluations.
• Assess coverage and analyze property damage.
• Create estimates and resolve claims efficiently and swiftly.
• Manage virtual claims nationwide using platforms like Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration.
• Engage with clients via phone, email, and video chat, respecting their communication preferences.
• Assess and negotiate claim resolutions with clients, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants.
• Utilize estimating tools, job aids, and settlement platforms to resolve claims.
• Implement policies in accordance with policy agreements.
• Ensure precise, timely, and clear documentation of claims in the claims system.
• Follow a 10-days-on, 4-days-off schedule post-training, with work hours between 8 to 12 hours.
• Applicants must reside in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific Time Zones.
• Up to 90% of travel out of town is required.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Must be capable and willing to carry a 50-pound ladder and access roofs with a 6/12 pitch on one- to two-story buildings.
• Candidates must live within a reasonable distance from a major airport.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing property estimates is required.
• Previous experience as a Property Adjuster is preferred.
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Xactimate is essential.
• A strong dedication to providing exceptional customer service is required.
• Ability to work independently while managing various priorities is essential.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities are a must.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment are needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must acquire an adjuster and/or appraiser license if mandated by the office/area, including passing an additional background check.
• Required licenses must be obtained within 60 days of hire, if applicable.
• Candidates offered a position must undergo a background investigation.
• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this role.
• A dedicated, private home workspace free from distractions is necessary.
• Suitable desk and seating arrangements for remote work are required.
• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is mandatory.
• Comprehensive training, including approximately 2 weeks of training in Dallas, TX.

• Potential $1,000 Licensing Sign-on Bonus for candidates with applicable active licenses.

• Salary ranging from $68,000 to $117,700 based on experience and qualifications.
