This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct scheduled diabetic eye examinations and retinal screenings for members at provider locations.
• Travel to both provider practices and patient residences for pre-arranged appointments.
• Utilize company-issued retinal imaging technology.
• Assist in closing quality gaps related to eye exams.
• Complete training on retinal imaging devices and eye examination procedures prior to independently performing exams.
• Maintain proficiency through continuous training opportunities.
• Oversee daily scheduling of eye exam appointments.
• Confirm appointments with both practices and patients ahead of time.
• Organize travel logistics efficiently.
• Interact virtually with team members, internal partners, customers, providers, payers, and care teams on non-appointment days.
• Establish and nurture working relationships with stakeholders.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, reporting, patient outreach, and customer success efforts.
• Adhere to security protocols and procedures to safeguard PHI, PII, and company intellectual property.
• Willingness and capability to travel daily, up to 100%, to provider practices.
• Candidates must reside locally in the Philadelphia, PA area.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• An associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, quality measures, medical billing, or coding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, and healthcare-related systems or applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
• Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with management, colleagues, customers, providers, payers, and care teams.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
• Internet connection with a minimum download speed of 100 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
• Certification or licensure as a healthcare professional, such as CMA or LPN, is preferred but not required.
