This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Deliver comprehensive project management assistance for multiple small to medium-sized projects or a single large project under the guidance of senior project management.
• Strategically plan and coordinate projects under the supervision of a Senior Project Manager and/or Division Manager.
• Oversee and direct project operations, allocate tasks, synchronize work efforts, address problem areas, and uphold project policies and procedures.
• Initiate client contact to evaluate project scope, timeline, and necessary resources.
• Generate thorough project estimates through a meticulous review of plans, specifications, and bid forms.
• Define project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance benchmarks.
• Manage and negotiate project change orders and quotations for changes.
• Supervise construction activities alongside the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to ensure adherence to schedule and budget.
• Examine critical situations and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Compile monthly cost reports.
• Oversee financial elements of contracts including progress billing, rental equipment, income, and expenses.
• Review documentation submitted by Assistant Project Managers prior to submission.
• Represent the company in project meetings under the guidance of PM II or Senior Project Manager.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in the electrical construction industry in a Project Management capacity.
• Experience with Data Center, Healthcare, or Large Commercial Projects.
• Demonstrated ability to perform duties with professionalism in both manner and appearance.
• Strong performance management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
• Proficient in computer applications and Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Familiarity with Accubid and Oracle is preferred.
• Capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and adjust to changing requirements.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential for the role.
• Self-driven, proactive, and a collaborative team player.
• Capability to engage effectively and professionally with employees, management, staff, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%-100% of the time.
• Ability to work primarily on active construction sites.
• Capability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
