Travel Partnerships Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Identify, negotiate, and forge new partnerships with hotels, airlines, car rental companies, and other vital providers within the travel industry.

• Sustain and enhance current relationships with key partners, seeking additional avenues to optimize our revenue while adding value to the partnership.

• Act as the main point of contact for all activities related to partners, ensuring effective communication and mutual success.

• Monitor and report on essential performance metrics (e.g., bookings, revenue, customer satisfaction).

• Formulate marketing and product strategies alongside our cross-functional colleagues to enhance outcomes.

• Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Product, Sales) to evaluate partnership performance and maximize revenue opportunities.

• Negotiate commercial terms, service-level agreements, and pricing frameworks to secure competitive arrangements for TravelBank and its clients.

• Cultivate positive, collaborative relationships with partner executives and key decision-makers.

• Work in tandem with partners to pinpoint expansion opportunities, new product integrations, or marketing initiatives that benefit both entities.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and competitor offerings to propose innovative, mutually beneficial solutions.

• Coordinate with TravelBank’s Marketing, Product, Sales, Travel Operations, and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth execution of partner programs and promotions.

• Champion partner-related product enhancements or operational improvements, communicating partner feedback to internal teams.

• Stay updated with trends and best practices in travel management, fintech, and partner management.

• Represent TravelBank at industry events, conferences, and partner meetings to enhance brand visibility and cultivate new relationships.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in partner management, channel management, or business development.

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Preference for familiarity with travel distribution systems, corporate travel programs, and payment technologies.

• Understanding of revenue management principles and best practices regarding the partnership lifecycle.

• Strong preference for familiarity and experience within the software or technical industry (e.g., travel tech).
