This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide comprehensive support for official Government travel for FRTIB, encompassing planning, authorizations, reservations, vouchers, approval workflows, reimbursement processing, reporting, training, and electronic travel-system assistance.
• Aid employees in planning their official Government travel and estimating anticipated costs.
• Prepare, review, route, and oversee travel authorizations and vouchers.
• Confirm accounting codes, funding lines, documentation, justifications, fares, per diem limits, and reimbursable expenses.
• Arrange, modify, and cancel airfare, lodging, and rental-car bookings.
• Offer functional and technical support for E2 Solutions and related travel systems.
• Resolve system errors, workflow challenges, and issues related to travel-system integration.
• Develop, configure, and manage travel workflows, approval-routing processes, protected user roles, and permissions.
• Assist the Agency in transitioning from E2 Solutions to Go.gov, which includes workflow mapping, configuration, testing, readiness, and implementation.
• Conduct virtual training sessions, webinars, remote desktop support, and limited in-person classroom training.
• Clarify Federal Travel Regulation and Agency requirements to users.
• Extract information from the travel system and prepare travel, travel-card, management, compliance, and audit-support reports.
• Maintain records, implement quality-control measures, and safeguard Government Furnished Information and Property.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in federal agency travel programs.
• Proven experience in processing federal travel authorizations and vouchers.
• Strong understanding of the Federal Travel Regulation.
• Experience with E2 Solutions or another federal electronic travel system.
• Background in assisting federal employees and approving officials with travel-related issues.
• Experience in providing travel-policy guidance, customer service, or user training.
• Ability to create or maintain travel workflows and approval-routing paths.
• Capability to interpret travel regulations and apply them to specific travel scenarios.
• Experience in reviewing travel expenses, documentation, accounting information, and reimbursement requests.
• Ability to adhere to Agency policies, procedures, privacy regulations, and operational protocols.
• Direct experience administering E2 Solutions is preferred.
• Experience with Go.gov implementation, testing, configuration, training, or operations is preferred.
• Experience supporting international or high-profile Government travel is preferred.
• Familiarity with Government travel cards, including Individually Billed Accounts and Centrally Billed Accounts, is preferred.
• Experience in extracting travel data and preparing Government reports is preferred.
• Applicants must have a favorably completed federal background investigation that can be verified and accepted by FRTIB.
• The minimum acceptable investigation is a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
• Additional steps for fingerprinting, credentialing, and onboarding may be required.
• Employment is subject to final Government approval.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory as the role supports the federal government.
• Full-time schedule from Monday to Friday.
