This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +16 more states.
• Respond promptly to calls and emails from clients seeking new travel arrangements or modifications to existing itineraries.
• Utilize Sabre for booking and issuing airline, hotel, car, and other reservations with precision and efficiency.
• Maintain adequate account knowledge to assist clients without delay.
• Review queues daily to ensure accuracy and completeness of all issued tickets.
• Manage service non-stop programs including preferred vendors, Waiver/Favors, RezCritiques, and Vacation Referrals.
• Offer travel expertise to clients.
• Provide quotes for international travel; analyze rules for restrictions and non-refundable aspects, and understand Open Skies and FAA regulations.
• Achieve KPIs set by management (e.g., productivity, transactions, etc.), while maintaining consistent attendance and adherence to the schedule.
• Communicate with airlines regarding flight changes, seating, and upgrades, and update clients as necessary.
• Adhere to ADTRAV policies, procedures, and approved workflows for servicing travelers.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction, demonstrating empathy and problem-solving skills for traveler issues.
• Effectively communicate with other agents and employees to resolve issues, gather information, and service travelers.
• Gain knowledge of ADTRAV's industry and customer base.
• Engage in ongoing training to continuously enhance knowledge and skills in the industry.
• Represent ADTRAV by embodying the company values and fostering effective working relationships with employees, partners, vendors, and clients.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in booking domestic and international travel; experience with complex international travel is a plus.
• Familiarity with a GDS System; Sabre is required, Amadeus is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.
• Understanding of government travel requirements, including visas and passports.
• Knowledge of federal travel regulations, the Fly America Act, and the Open Skies Agreement.
• Strong computer and typing skills, including the ability to quickly navigate between programs and utilize shortcut keys.
• Proven experience in learning and using technology, with the ability to operate multiple applications and monitors simultaneously.
• Ability to consistently provide excellent customer service, both internally and externally.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong listening skills; capable of understanding and addressing traveler needs while clarifying as necessary.
• Keen attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to convey ideas and concepts clearly and concisely, while being receptive to feedback and direction as necessary.
• Professional and positive demeanor when interacting with internal and external customers/clients and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Capacity to work remotely and fulfill company home-office requirements.
• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods without leaving the work area.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of company and client information.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings, nights, overnights, and weekends; after-hours shifts are between 7pm-7am CT. Availability to work on holidays is also required.
