Trauma Registrar

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• This role is responsible for the gathering, completion, and verification of the accuracy of all patient information collected for the Trauma Registry data collection system. The Registrar is tasked with creating and maintaining clinical and statistical data, including AIS coding and ICD10CM codes, while abstracting various data elements to ensure consistency and quality across all aspects of the system through effective data collection.

• Duties encompass the daily oversight of trauma admissions for record identification, as well as abstracting, coding, and inputting data into the registry.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in ICD and/or AIS coding. Internship or school training may be considered in lieu of the required year of experience.

• An Associate Degree in Health Science, a related field in Allied Health, or Health Information Management is required.
