This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize specialized clinical expertise to assist hospital partners by categorizing, coding, summarizing, interpreting, and calculating registry/case information from intricate patient medical records.

• Ensure the accurate submission of all data within designated registries or data repositories, maintaining a high standard of precision.

• Effectively prioritize, organize, and adhere to tight deadlines for various concurrent tasks and team requests; demonstrate tact and judgment in managing expectations, identifying obstacles, and proposing timely solutions.

• Navigate new technical systems such as electronic medical records (EMR) and registry/case entry tools; leverage team resources to resolve technical issues with systems and applications, focusing on solutions.

• Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and other essential business rule documents; identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency in tasks and workflows.

• Stay informed about mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements as outlined by federal, state, payer, and other agencies.

• Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in Level 1 Facility Trauma Registry abstraction.

• Completion of the ATS (American Trauma Society Course) course.

• Completion of the AAAM AIS 15 Coding Course.

• Completion of the Annual TQIP Education.

• ICD-10 Training and Certification (within the last 5 years).

• Familiarity with various patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.

• Candidates applying for employment with Q-Centrix must be legally authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without sponsorship.
