Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Construct metal stud or wood framed walls and ceilings.

• Install and finish drywall in preparation for various finishes.

• Fit and install wood and hollow metal frames and doors, along with related hardware such as locks, closers, and panic devices.

• Perform general building repairs, which include the repair and painting of walls, doors, floors, and more.

• Conduct repairs on plumbing systems, which involve fixing leaks and stoppages, as well as repairing or replacing sinks, piping, valves, drains, and toilets.

• Replace lighting fixtures, ceiling tiles, and grids throughout buildings and offices.

• Carry out minor electrical repairs.

• Install wood trim, including baseboards, crown molding, chair rails, and door trim.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.

• A valid driver's license is essential.

• Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Proficiency in writing routine reports and correspondence.

• Effective verbal communication skills for addressing groups of customers or employees within the organization.
