Transmission Line Engineer – Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee all facets of a typical transmission line project, from initial scoping to final project closeout.

• Take the lead on your own projects and serve as the primary liaison with all stakeholders.

• Coordinate with various stakeholders throughout the project's lifecycle.

• Design Transmission Lines using PLS Cadd software.

• Generate load sheets and drawings for custom steel poles.

• Design foundations utilizing MFAD.

• Prepare material lists for transmission line projects.

• Compile comprehensive Issue for Construction specification books.

• Support the development of internal standards.

• Conduct quality checks on projects completed by other engineers.

• Mentor junior transmission line engineers.

• Attend construction site visits as necessary.

• Directly coordinate with clients and stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

• 4-10 years of experience in Transmission Line Engineering.

• Proficiency in PLS Cadd (required).

• Experience with MFAD (preferred).

• Ability to lead a team of engineers.

• Client lead PE qualifications.
