Translator, Learning Designer – Localization Project, Spanish – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat to ensure accuracy, fluency, grammar, tone, and authentic LATAM Spanish expression.

• Consistently apply approved terminology across skills, decisions, products, and specialized terms.

• Naturally adapt buyer-as-hero and “you” language for LATAM audiences.

• Reconstruct finalized translations within existing PowerPoint presentations and Articulate Rise modules.

• Test and fix animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and build sequences.

• Address layout challenges arising from Spanish text expansion.

• Conduct minor edits to images and screenshot text within PowerPoint.

• Ensure all assets are delivered in a fully presentation-ready format.

• Collaborate effectively with the internal team and other contractors.

• Work independently to meet milestones and engage in 1–2 weekly check-ins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in LATAM Spanish with outstanding professional/B2B writing capabilities.

• Strong English reading and collaborative skills.

• Demonstrable experience in business, sales enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.

• Comfortable utilizing terminology glossaries and style guides.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, including the Animation Pane and animation troubleshooting.

• Experience with Articulate Rise or comparable authoring tools.

• High attention to layout, typography, and visual presentation.

• Reliable availability during Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.

• Experience with localization QA for animated/interactive presentations is a plus.

• B2B sales enablement experience is an added advantage.
