Translator, Learning Designer – Localization Project, Spanish – LATAM

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Review and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat for precision, fluency, grammar, tone, and natural expression in Spanish.

• Consistently implement approved terminology across skills, decisions, products, and specialized vocabularies.

• Uphold a conversational, evidence-based, and commercially astute voice.

• Naturally adapt language that positions the buyer as the hero and employs "you" language for LATAM audiences.

• Reconstruct finalized translations within existing PowerPoint decks and Articulate Rise modules.

• Test and rectify animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and sequencing of builds.

• Address layout challenges arising from Spanish text expansion.

• Conduct light image/screenshot text edits in PowerPoint.

• Provide assets in a fully polished, presentation-ready form.

• Collaborate with internal teams and other contractors, working independently towards set milestones.

• Engage in 1–2 weekly check-ins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in LATAM Spanish with exceptional professional/B2B writing capabilities.

• Strong reading and collaboration skills in English.

• Demonstrated experience in business, sales enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.

• Familiarity with terminology glossaries and style guides.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, including the Animation Pane and animation repairs.

• Experience with Articulate Rise or comparable authoring tools.

• Keen attention to layout, typography, and visual presentation.

• Consistent availability during Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.

• Nice to have: experience in localization QA for animated/interactive presentations.

• Nice to have: experience in B2B sales enablement.
