Translator, Learning Designer – Localization Project (Portuguese - Brazil)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance AI-pretranslated content in Smartcat for precision, fluency, grammar, tone, and natural expression.

• Consistently implement approved terminology across skills, decisions, products, and specialized language.

• Naturally adapt buyer-as-hero and “you” language for Brazilian audiences.

• Reconstruct finalized translations within existing PowerPoint presentations and Articulate Rise modules.

• Test and correct animations, transitions, triggers, timing, and build sequences.

• Address layout issues resulting from Portuguese text expansion.

• Conduct minor image and screenshot text edits in PowerPoint.

• Provide assets in a fully presentation-ready condition.

• Collaborate with the internal team and other contractors.

• Work independently towards milestones and engage in 1–2 weekly check-ins.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Brazilian Portuguese with exceptional professional/B2B writing abilities.

• Strong English reading and collaborative skills.

• Demonstrated experience in business, sales enablement, corporate learning, or professional localization.

• Comfortable utilizing terminology glossaries and style guides.

• Proficient in PowerPoint, including the Animation Pane and animation troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Articulate Rise or comparable authoring tools.

• Keen attention to layout, typography, and visual presentation.

• Reliable overlap with Eastern Time (GMT-4) / Central European business hours.

• Nice to have: experience in localization QA with animated/interactive presentations.

• Nice to have: experience in B2B sales enablement.
