Translation Validator, Farsi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Conduct a thorough review of an English source document along with two machine-generated translations (Variant A and Variant B) independently.

• Choose the preferred translation and provide a detailed written rationale for your selection.

• Each sample is evaluated by three independent validators following a blind review process.

• Analyze audio files and their matching transcriptions, assessing accuracy, completeness, and overall quality.

• Evaluate transcription quality and audio quality in accordance with project guidelines.

• Complete assigned samples autonomously and within the designated timelines.

• Strictly adhere to project and client guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Farsi (both written and spoken).

• Strong written communication abilities in the target language.

• Proficient in English.

• A background in linguistics, translation, or language quality assessment is preferred.

• Capability to work independently with meticulous attention to detail and consistency.

• Familiarity with conventions of Romanized script for the relevant language is advantageous.
