Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Training Lead to design, develop, and implement training programs for the federal client initiative.

• Evaluate training needs and assist in the formulation of training strategies and learning objectives.

• Generate, revise, and uphold training materials, guides, presentations, and supporting documentation.

• Conduct training sessions and facilitate employee and stakeholder training activities.

• Liaise with project teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to ensure training initiatives are in line with program objectives and USACE policies.

• Establish evaluation criteria and perform assessments to gauge the effectiveness of training programs.

• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying ways to enhance training content, processes, and delivery methods.

• Maintain training records, documentation, and reporting obligations in compliance with organizational standards.

• Employ training management systems and tools to monitor training activities and completion metrics.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders within a federal IT setting.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or a related discipline, or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

• At least seven (7) years of overall professional experience, including a minimum of four (4) years in training and development.

• Strong leadership, organizational, team management, and strategic planning abilities.

• Experience in the design, execution, and evaluation of training programs.

• Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Proficiency in training management systems and associated training tools.

• Ability to work both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract and/or security clearance mandates.
