Training – Product Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct engaging training sessions for clients that highlight the features and functionalities of SchemeServe.

• Educate customers on how to create and manage their own insurance products utilizing SchemeServe.

• Provide focused training on particular areas of the platform.

• Facilitate internal training sessions and assist in the onboarding process for new SchemeServe employees.

• Develop and update Help Guides, training videos, tutorials, and various other educational resources.

• Organize and lead webinars to discuss SchemeServe functionalities and best practices.

• Identify recurring knowledge gaps and develop training or self-service resources to address them.

• Empower clients to achieve greater self-sufficiency with SchemeServe.

• Construct and configure insurance products for clients using SchemeServe.

• Convert underwriting guidelines and product specifications into functional products.

• Set up question sets, rules, documents, and additional product functionalities.

• Build and manage rating processes utilizing Excel.

• Test products to ensure they meet expected behavior.

• Assist with modifications and updates to existing products.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather product requirements.

• Diagnose configuration issues and devise practical solutions.

• Proven experience in training, ideally within a SaaS or insurance environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Comfortable engaging directly with clients.

• Proficient general computer skills, with confidence in using Excel.

• Eagerness to learn about the configuration and creation of insurance products.

• Capability to work independently while collaborating with various teams.

• Based in the UK.

• Enjoy working with people and articulating solutions.

• Knowledge of the insurance industry, including terminology, products, and operational processes.

• Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge.

• Inherent curiosity and strong problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable with learning and utilizing digital tools.

• Clear and effective written and verbal communication.

• Self-motivated and reliable in a remote work setting.

• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

• Openness to challenge existing practices and propose improvements.

• Previous experience in training, onboarding, or demonstrations is a plus.

• Familiarity with insurance software or SaaS platforms is advantageous.

• Experience in configuring insurance products, schemes, or rating is beneficial.

• Background as an underwriter, broker, configuration analyst, or business/systems analyst is a plus.

• Experience in creating training materials, videos, or documentation is an asset.
