This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of clinical and coding trainers while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance individual and team performance.
• Oversee trainer performance, manage workload prioritization, and ensure alignment with business objectives, training deliverables, and operational timelines.
• Design and implement training strategies and programs that facilitate onboarding, accelerate proficiency, enhance performance, and promote long-term capability development.
• Ensure all training initiatives are relevant, accurate, and aligned with business requirements, client expectations, and operational priorities.
• Conduct training needs assessments to identify capability gaps across teams.
• Monitor, assess, and continuously enhance training effectiveness using performance metrics, learner feedback, observations, and evaluations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, Clinical, Coding, and Leadership, to align training priorities and achieve business outcomes.
• Maintain oversight of training records, reporting, trainee progression, and readiness metrics.
• Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, webinars, and development activities as required.
• Effectively manage team resources and eliminate obstacles that hinder trainer success.
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancing learning methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in training or learning & development within the healthcare sector (nursing and/or medical coding).
• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing trainers, including nurses and certified coders.
• Certification in training or learning & development is highly preferred.
• Background in nursing, medical coding, or healthcare operations is strongly preferred.

• Proven track record of improving training outcomes, performance, and quality through targeted development strategies.
• Ability to identify skill gaps and implement focused development plans for both trainers and learners.
• Strong leadership qualities with the ability to coach, mentor, and instill accountability within training teams.
• Data-driven mindset to assess training effectiveness and foster continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across operations, quality, and leadership.
• Ability to articulate complex clinical and coding concepts into clear, practical training materials.
• Experience in one of the following areas: Outpatient, DRG or CVA auditing, is preferred but not mandatory.
