Senior Training Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement professional training sessions for both customers and internal staff; showcase proficiency in our software products while understanding customer workflows and their specific configurations.

• Develop and revise training documentation, including manuals, assessments, diagrams, PowerPoint presentations, and other supporting resources.

• Act as the designated product owner for at least one Advarra technology product, ensuring that all training materials are aligned with the product release schedule.

• Attain expertise in multiple Advarra software applications; remain informed about new features and version updates.

• Gain insight into the clinical trial industry, including standard customer processes and operating procedures; offer guidance and share best practices with clients.

• Support the administration of our Learning Management System, including advanced user access assistance across all LMS portals.

• Function as an internal consultant to evaluate teams’ training needs; propose and lead initiatives to enhance internal training and address team requirements.

• Identify opportunities to refine existing training processes; recommend modifications to improve the training experience for customers and internal stakeholders with Advarra.

• Facilitate both in-person and web-based training sessions.

• Collaborate with the eLearning team to create new training programs for diverse audiences and products.

• Provide product demonstrations to meet the needs of the current customer base and the business development team.

• Observe training sessions and offer constructive feedback to fellow trainers, aiding them in developing new skills and strategies for adult software training.

• Actively participate in the Advarra community by preparing and delivering presentations for large groups at industry conferences and consistently engaging in the community forum.

• Exhibit responsiveness and a sense of urgency in all customer interactions.

• Document any system bugs identified for future development consideration.

• Regularly integrate feedback to enhance training offerings and documentation.

• Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; relevant work experience may be accepted in place of the educational requirement.

• Over 5 years of experience in training.

• Proven track record of delivering effective and comprehensive training for software or other technical tools.

• Experience in conducting virtual training using specialized platforms such as Zoom, Adobe Connect, Teams, etc.

• Proficient in delivering training confidently in both virtual and traditional classroom environments.
