Training & CWCN Workforce Development Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee the continuous enhancement of training and development initiatives aligned with assigned areas.

• Create training plans for both individuals and groups, applying best practices and determining training outcomes while assessing their success.

• Supervise all activities related to training development coordination to ensure they are in line with program objectives.

• Collaborate with leadership to pinpoint immediate and ongoing training and development requirements, effectively conveying training strategies.

• Design assessment tools for the training and development program, along with assessments for individual outcomes.

• Coordinate and guarantee that designated staff members complete necessary and mandatory training sessions.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience working directly with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities or mental and behavioral health disorders, including experience in developing training programs or educational curricula, coordinating training, or creating educational content; OR

• Associate’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field and four (4) years of experience working directly with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities or mental and behavioral health disorders, encompassing experience in developing training programs or educational curricula, coordinating training, or creating educational content; OR

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field and two (2) years of experience working directly with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities or mental and behavioral health disorders, including experience in developing training programs or educational curricula, coordinating training, or creating educational content; OR

• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

• Must reside within Trillium’s catchment area, which encompasses various North Carolina counties including Bertie, Camden, Chowan, Currituck, Gates, Halifax, Hertford, Martin, Northampton, Pasquotank, Perquimans, Warren, Beaufort, Dare, Edgecombe, Greene, Hyde, Nash, Pamlico, Pitt, Tyrrell, Washington, Wilson, Carteret, Craven, Duplin, Jones, Lenoir, Onslow, Pender, Sampson, Wayne, Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Hoke, Lee, Moore, New Hanover, Robeson, Scotland, Anson, Guilford, Montgomery, Randolph, and Richmond.

• Must be willing to travel within the catchment area as necessary.
