This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Oversee the comprehensive design of learning programs, including onboarding, product knowledge, role-specific skills, and managerial development.
• Create interactive eLearning modules, job aids, facilitator guides, assessments, and blended learning experiences.
• Collaborate directly with subject matter experts (trainers, product managers, CS leads) to convert role responsibilities, workflows, policies, and product usage into learner-focused training experiences.
• Implement adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks (such as ADDIE, SAM, or equivalent) into each project.
• Develop digital learning content using tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, or similar platforms.
• Integrate real-world role scenarios and practice opportunities to enhance learning transfer.
• Establish and manage our authoring tool workflow and content standards.
• Collaborate with our LMS administrator to ensure content is well-organized, user-friendly, and properly maintained.
• Create templates and reusable assets that enable the team to produce content more efficiently over time.
• Work alongside HR Business Partners and business leaders to conduct learning needs assessments.
• Translate business challenges into learning solutions and assertively communicate when training is not the appropriate response.
• Present design proposals and ongoing work to stakeholders while effectively integrating their feedback.
• Determine success criteria for each program you design.
• Utilize learner feedback, completion data, and business outcomes to refine and enhance content.
• Contribute to developing a measurement framework for the broader L&D function.
• Regularly update learning content to reflect changing processes, systems, and role expectations.
• 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, preferably within a SaaS, technology, or professional services setting.
• Proficient in at least one major authoring tool (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of adult learning theory with practical experience in applying various design methodologies.
• Experience in conducting learning needs assessments and translating results into a content strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently with minimal structural support.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as you will frequently collaborate with non-L&D personnel.
• A portfolio showcasing a variety of work: eLearning, facilitator-led content, job aids, and ideally some blended programs.
• Familiarity with HR software, HCM, or a similarly complex B2B product environment.
• Knowledge of LMS administration is beneficial, though not required in our current setup.
• Experience in creating content for both internal teams and external customers/clients.
• Some exposure to learning analytics or evaluation frameworks (such as Kirkpatrick or similar).
