Training and Development Specialist II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• The Workforce Learning team is tasked with the development, delivery, and management of technical training at Raytheon, which encompasses skills and performance training, safety training, and compliance training.

• This position will emphasize instructional design and development.

• The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of adult learning principles, advanced skills in Articulate Storyline, and foundational knowledge of Adobe applications such as Photoshop, as well as proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

• Experience with SharePoint is a plus.

• Utilize software to craft engaging and interactive instructor-led and web-based training programs.

• Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to design impactful training experiences.

• Cultivate positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and leaders while managing all aspects of training design, development, deployment, and evaluation.

• Direct project teams responsible for the creation, upkeep, or revision of training materials.

• Adhere to all internal protocols and meet quality standards in every training project.

• Exhibit strong project management capabilities.

• Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of individuals and departments that may have competing priorities.

• Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant prior experience.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in instructional design within a large corporate setting and a portfolio showcasing software and adult learning theory expertise.

• In-depth understanding of adult learning theory.

• Advanced proficiency in Storyline.

• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a project team.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly, concisely, and accurately.

• Demonstrated experience with one or more instructional design models such as ADDIE, SAM, or LLAMA.
