This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Accountable for evaluating, training, and facilitating ongoing education for colleagues within designated Health Ministries (HM) concerning Revenue Integrity operational management responsibilities.

• Ensures that all Revenue Integrity team members demonstrate foundational competencies in utilizing the Health Information System (HIS) along with all related Revenue Cycle computer applications, as well as adhering to organizational and governmental regulatory guidelines and processes.

• Delivers orientation for new hires, followed by ongoing monitoring post-training for all new Revenue Integrity colleagues, including those from decentralized departments engaged in Revenue Integrity-related roles.

• Designs and sustains the orientation and training program for new staff and off-site registration personnel, covering Revenue Integrity computer systems, foundational Revenue Cycle courses, policies and procedures, compliance principles, and colleague assessments.

• Facilitates scheduled in-person classroom and virtual training, which involves preparing training schedules, communicating relevant details to the target audience, organizing the training environment, tracking attendance, and following up on assessments and logistics.

• Conducts formal monthly training sessions for revenue cycle and additional training as required for departments involved in Revenue Integrity management functions, adhering to department and HIS policies and procedures.

• Collaborates with system implementation teams to create, test, and instruct end users, while also performing quality assurance on various applications and features.

• Assists with Epic TogetherCare Super User and end user training initiatives.

• Works in partnership with PFS, Revenue Integrity, Compliance, and TogetherCare to consistently identify training needs for colleagues and enhance their skill sets.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or a suitable combination of education and experience.

• Strong preference for credentials in Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Referral applications.

• Must complete the Trinity Health TogetherCare Credentialed Trainer Program for Epic Cadence, Prelude, and Referral Applications within one year of employment.

• Licensure: CHAA and CRCS-I certifications are preferred.

• Familiarity with Revenue Cycle functional training for all essential Revenue Integrity functions and processes.

• Some experience with specialized methodologies for developing training support tools.

• Must possess teaching abilities that facilitate user engagement and learning.

• Capable of conveying complex information to end users in a clear, user-friendly manner that ensures competency and process compliance, while encouraging user discussion and feedback.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with individuals both within and outside the organization.

• Skills in creating and editing educational training materials with accurate grammar, proofreading, and spelling.

• In-depth understanding of Federal and State regulations and Compliance standards related to the healthcare sector.

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret Medicare Compliance Regulations.

• Working knowledge of third-party payer regulations, requirements, and laws governing admissions and registration processes.

• Proficient in medical terminology.

• Capable of performing calculations for discounts, co-insurance, co-pays, and deductibles.

• Ability to plan, organize, and execute tasks efficiently and professionally.

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting deadlines, competing priorities, and unexpected assignments.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information and materials.

• Demonstrated capability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Competent in resolving issues and completing tasks accurately and promptly.

• Ability to function as a customer-oriented team member, providing leadership and guidance to others.

• Engages in mandatory training to support ongoing professional and personal development.

• Comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

• Exhibits a personal presence characterized by honesty, integrity, and compassion, inspiring and motivating others to uphold the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.
